Today was the first day of our International Craft Festival and Rug Event! Many friends and neighbors and long-time customers stopped by to see all our handmade crafts from artisans all over the world. The beautiful rugs from Pakistan are here and when people walk into the rug room, their first words are “Wow!” and “Gorgeous!” You have to come and see and feel these colorful, hand-knotted rugs yourself — all sizes, colors and shapes.
And, inside the sanctuary, what a wide array of handmade baskets, jewelry, scarves and shawls, tableware, mugs, swirly recycled glass candle lights, fair trade coffee, tea, and chocolate, musical instruments, soaps and incense, chairs for relaxing, duvet covers, tablecloths and napkins, birdhouses, finger puppets, children’s push toys — almost anything you’d want to give someone you love for Christmas or Hanukkah, Diwali or Kwanzaa.
And as always, the most beautiful handmade Christmas ornaments from all over the world — intricate, cute, funny, fuzzy, ethereal, and bright! Come fill up a basket and get ready to trim your tree! See you Thursday through Saturday!
